A local preacher is trending now because serious proof via investigative video recording has been released to the public...but this isn't really about Pastor Kanyari....so lets not get over ourselves...lets try and dig deeper and see what all this is all about and we can do this in a series of questions.
Who is a false prophet?
Well according to 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, a false prophet is a "false apostle, deceitful worker, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ"
Is this something new or did we know this would happen eventually?
2 Peter 2:1-3 says "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Have we fallen for their uuuh and aaah moments?
Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect"....Even the most learned even the most powerful have had itchy ears and swift feet to know what they want to say and follow their orders to the latter.
So what happens to these "men of God"?

Galatians 1:9 - As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Seriously we can go on and on saying how naughty they have been and how Daddy will punish them because to be truthful, it is in the bible after all and God is not a man that He shall lie nor will He ever go back on His word.
So what really is the lesson today?Condemn Pastor Kanyari and all the other preachers allegedly practicing false apostleship, being deceitful workers and/or transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ? or.... aaah hear is where it gets tricky....realize that they are human after all and I truly believe that they were not born this way.

The bible continues to say in Luke 6:37
"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven"
so don't be quick to judge because in all fair expression...you don't know 100% of the story we only know what has been presented to us....brethren a part of the body of Christ (the church) is failing and when -like in the actual body- an organ fails, the whole body is affected. We have all fallen into the trap of judging one way or another and we have justified it too but we are reminded "Judge not that ye shall not be judged"
It is a long thought but take a minute and think it over and its my prayer that the spirit guides you to do what is right.
